The Scout rank is the first milestone on your journey to Eagle Scout. At this rank, you'll learn the fundamental principles and values of Scouting, including the Scout Oath and Law that will guide your path forward. This rank focuses on understanding what it means to be a Scout, learning basic Scout skills, and beginning to work within the patrol method. Unlike other ranks, Scout rank has no time requirements and is focused on laying the groundwork for your Scouting journey. This is where you'll learn how to wear your uniform properly, understand the importance of Scout spirit, and begin to grasp the significance of Scouting's outdoor ethics through the Outdoor Code.
